Drivers License

New residents must obtain an Illinois drivers license within 90 days. The fee is $10.00. For more information call the State DMV Facility nearest you or the Office of the Secretary of State at 773-793-1010.
Vehicle Registration
License plates may be obtained from the Secretary of State (312-793-1010) or the State DMV Facility nearest you. Vehicles must also have stickers.

Fees run $60 for passenger vehicles, $85 for RV/Pick-up truck, $30 for Seniors over 65 years old.
Voter Registration
New residents must establish at least 30 days residence, and register to vote 30 days prior to an election, in order to vote in a city, state, or national election.
