Vehicle Registration
Vehicles must be registered in the state of Massachusetts Registration costs $30.00 and is good for two years. Provide proof of ownership (bring title or bill of sale, or past registration), proof of insurance with a state insurance company. Application for a Massachusetts title must also be made at this time for the cost of $50.00. Inspection of your vehicle must be cone within seven days f registering your car. Any certified gas station or repair garage can do an emissions and safety inspection. A state sales tax may be applied to all vehicles purchased less than six months before moving to Mass.
